What are your shipping methods?

All our meat products are shipped fresh via FedEx Priority Overnight and FedEx Standard Overnight service.

Non-perishable items and merchandise can also be shipped via FedEx Express Saver, which delivers within three days. Gift certificates can only be sent via instant email delivery.

Delivery times for each FedEx service vary by area. You can check FedEx's estimated delivery timeframes on fedex.com.

How will my order be packed?

Our meat is shipped fresh, never frozen, in vacuum-sealed packages. Your order with perishable items will be hand-packed in a Styrofoam cooler with frozen gel packs. (We do not use dry ice.) The cooler is then put into a corrugated Lobel's shipping box. Our products are packed to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping.

What does shipping cost?

Your shipping cost is calculated based on the total weight of the package. Please see our chart below.

What days do you deliver?

You can take delivery Tuesdays through Saturdays. There is an additional $20 charge for Saturday deliveries. There are also shipping restrictions around certain holidays. Check our Holiday & Event Ordering Deadlines page for a current list of holiday ordering deadlines and holiday shipping dates.

When should I place my order?

Orders can be placed up until 6 a.m. (ET) 2 days prior to your chosen delivery date. For parties and events, we recommend that you schedule your delivery to arrive 1 to 2 days before the event. This allows for any unforeseeable delivery problems. There are also shipping restrictions around certain holidays. How do I track the shipment of an order?

When we ship your order, we send you an automatically generated email including your tracking number. Go to FedEx.com to track the progress of your package. You can also find your tracking number in the Order History section of your Lobel's account.

If you do not receive an email containing your tracking number, it's possible that we don't have your correct email address in our system. You can ensure you get such emails by making sure your Lobel's account is up to date.

You can also call our customer service center toll-free at 1-877-783-4512 and a representative will be happy to look up your tracking number, inform you of your package's progress, and update your account information if you wish.

I won't be home when FedEx delivers. Will they leave the package?

We keep a signature waiver on file with FedEx so that they will always leave your package at your shipping address, even if someone is not home to sign for it. This ensures that FedEx does not "hold" your perishable meat products. Our products are packed to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping.
